Lead mobile architecture, engineering teams and SHARE platform expansion with Majid Al Futtaim Future Solutions in Amman.
Scope
- Lead a mobile platform capable of efficiently supporting additional markets, business units and Mini App experiences as SHARE grows across the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical programmes end to end, managing scope, risk, resources, budgets, timelines and delivery.
- Own and evolve mobile architecture across iOS, Android, Flutter and Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Expand KMP use for shared business logic, networking and UI, including XCFramework and AAR distribution.
- Build and govern reusable mobile components, design tokens, theming and shared platform capabilities.
- Define Mini App architecture and integration standards and improve testing, CI/CD, architectural decision records, engineering standards and developer experience.
- Lead and mentor engineers and technical leads and manage performance, training, recruitment and talent development.
- Partner with Product, Design, DevOps, Security, QA and business teams on scalable delivery through agile practices and effective governance.
- Track release speed, KMP/design-system adoption, crash-free performance, customer growth and retention, revenue, milestones, budget and team performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least ten years of senior mobile engineering experience, including at least five in leadership, with a record of delivering complex consumer digital products.
- Expert iOS development in Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit, experience integrating KMP XCFrameworks, solid Android/Kotlin knowledge and practical KMP and Flutter experience.
- Proven design of reusable mobile platforms, SDKs, shared components, modular architectures and large-scale consumer applications.
- Strong Agile, CI/CD, TDD and BDD expertise and sound technical decisions and trade-off evaluation while remaining technically hands-on.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, mentoring and stakeholder management, aligning cross-functional teams and developing high-performing people.
- A strategic, innovative and customer-focused approach to meaningful problems and scaling products to millions of regional users.
- Fluent Arabic and English are required.
