Laundry Attendant – Ritz-Carlton Amman

The Ritz-Carlton Amman seeks a Laundry Attendant to operate washing and drying equipment, inspect linens and maintain accurate laundry records.

Daily work

• Operate and monitor washing, dry-cleaning and drying machines, add suitable chemicals and clean lint traps, filters and drains after each load.
• Identify stains and damage and decide whether items need spot treatment, rewashing, repair or removal; check cleanliness and place finished items in clean linen carts.
• Set drying time and temperature for fabrics, fold items by hand or machine to the required size and maintain accurate processing records.
• Inspect equipment, report faults and hazards, follow safety training, quality and confidentiality rules and suggest improvements to efficiency and costs.

Qualifications and practical demands

• No high school qualification, prior related or supervisory experience or specific licence is required by the listing.
• The role involves a full shift of standing and movement, handling items up to 25 pounds without assistance, confined or elevated spaces, ramps, uneven surfaces and stairs, with reaching and bending.
