Job description

Represent Julphar in Jordan by developing the assigned sales territory, engaging healthcare professionals and promoting products in line with the company’s professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Julphar products and services to healthcare providers, opinion leaders and other stakeholders, understand customer needs and support decisions with relevant information.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives within agreed budgets and timeframes, develop the territory and implement sales and marketing plans.
  • Follow territory coverage plans for call volumes and visit frequency, and coordinate customer-focused activities with the line manager.
  • Plan weekly and monthly schedules, maintain customer records and prepare daily, monthly, market-feedback and CRM reports.
  • Contribute to company meetings and territory reviews, identify new business and support revenue and profit growth.
  • Organise presentation activities for healthcare providers with sales and marketing managers.
  • Maintain clinical knowledge supplied by medical and marketing teams, develop skills and discuss information effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and local health-service developments and report relevant intelligence.
  • Use promotional tools, free medical samples and services effectively in support of objectives.
  • Protect the company’s reputation, uphold its values and ethics and retain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is mandatory.
  • Pharmaceutical-industry experience within the stated range of two to four years.
  • Strong working knowledge of distributor and agent operations, government accounts, tendering, contracting and pricing, as applicable in the country.
  • Functional knowledge of clinical aspects of pharmaceuticals and a reasonable understanding of supply chains, dispensing requirements and distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with country teams and headquarters marketing and medical teams.
