Field Service Engineer – Laboratory Solutions, Amman

A confidential Amman healthcare provider seeks a laboratory Field Service Engineer with 1–2 years of experience, a driving licence and car access.

Opportunity

• Full-time opportunity with a confidential healthcare-solutions provider, based in Amman and serving customers across Jordan. Report to the Service Manager or Team Lead. The advertisement specifies a male engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent on-site support under SLAs, including installation, relocation, IQ/OQ/PQ qualification and repairs.
• Deliver remote diagnostics and fixes, build customer partnerships and mentor customer service teams.
• Plan and complete corrective/preventive maintenance and upgrades under regulatory and procedural requirements to sustain customer operations.
• Assess sites before installation, advise on readiness, follow spare-parts requests and inventory and coordinate supplier technical and medical teams.

Requirements

• One to two years of practical IVD laboratory-equipment servicing experience, with automated-system support strongly preferred; the platform summary uses a 1–3-year category.
• Demonstrated installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair expertise and a biomedical/electronics engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong communication/presentation, teamwork and prioritisation, Microsoft Office proficiency and very good written/spoken English.
