Director of Finance and Accounting

Lead finance and accounting in Amman, managing closing, controls, budgets and ERP with ten years of experience and five in management.

Leadership responsibilities

• Report to the COO and supervise daily accounting, projects, payables, receivables, budgeting, reporting and ERP.
• Deliver accurate monthly closing on time and improve analytical tools, accounting policies and consistently applied controls.
• Lead ERP implementation and workflow automation with operations and business-development teams.
• Set team goals, prioritize and assign projects, coach staff and develop current and future technology skills.
• Maintain transaction and reporting quality, cross-functional partnership, transparency and accountability with integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• An Accounting, Finance, Business or related degree; an MBA or CPA is advantageous.
• At least ten years of relevant experience and five in management; the generic five-plus field is less specific than the detailed criteria.
• Process redesign, implementation planning, follow-up and ability to research and apply accounting guidance.
• Communication, teamwork, precision, mentoring, continuous improvement and advanced Office and ERP skills, preferably SAP.
