Catering Executive at Fairmont Amman, Amman, Jordan.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Director of Catering & Conference Services, coordinate daily orders/events, understand client preferences and prepare quotes, menus, proposals and documents.
• Coordinate kitchen/service/departments on preparation, delivery, presentation, setup and breakdown; monitor schedules, confirmations, changes and special requests.
• Maintain booking/client/order/invoice records, liaise with suppliers and assist cost, inventory and equipment monitoring.
• Support the Catering Manager on large events, promote services and relationships and handle feedback/complaints and post-event follow-up under safety, hygiene and company policies.

Qualifications and working requirements

• Diploma/degree in Hospitality, Catering or related field and 2–3 years’ catering/hospitality experience.
• Good communication, customer service, organisation and coordination; work under pressure to deadlines with basic food-safety/hygiene knowledge.
