Founded in 1998, Zaha Cultural Center operates within Greater Amman Municipality’s framework with financial and administrative independence. Its Khalda headquarters and branches in several Jordanian governorates provide opportunities to develop creativity, talents and skills.
Programmes serve children and young people aged 6–16 and include arts, music, performing arts, sports, computing, educational activities and creative thinking. The centre also offers human-development and media-literacy activities.
Its work extends to community programmes for women and volunteering, providing spaces for learning and participation. The main centre is on Amir Bin Malik Street in Khalda, Amman, behind the English Schools and near Arab Bank traffic lights.
