About Tafilah Women Charity Society
Established in 2011, Tafilah Women Charity Society is a voluntary nonprofit association promoting women’s cultural, social, economic and legal empowerment. It runs programmes for safer families and youth development through local, national and international partnerships.
Amal Family Counselling Centre is one of its main programmes. Established in late 2014, it offers free psychosocial support and legal, health, psychological and religious counselling for women and family members. Other programmes address social protection, prevention of gender-based violence and youth participation in community change.
