About SADAQA
SADAQA began as a community campaign in 2011 and registered as a nonprofit in 2012. It works to increase women’s and mothers’ economic participation, reduce workplace gender inequality and help working families remain in employment and progress professionally.
The organization addresses barriers involving childcare, transport, unequal pay and social protection. Its work includes research, capacity building, policy papers, national frameworks and labour-rights awareness, while supporting women’s leadership and participation in decision-making.
It also develops knowledge and service information for the care sector, including nurseries and care providers. The office is at 8 Hikmat Al Masri Street, Oak Tree Building, office 10, Um Uthaina, Amman.
