About Jordan Wind Project Company
Jordan Wind Project Company was established in 2012 to develop wind-generated electricity in Tafilah Governorate. The 117 MW Tafila Wind Farm entered commercial operation on 16 September 2015.
The company’s activity centres on renewable electricity supplied to the national grid, with environmental, safety and local community programmes around the project. Generation is based in Tafilah, while administration and public enquiries are handled from Shmeisani, Amman.
