Jordan Paralympic Committee traces its history to the establishment of the Jordanian Federation for Disabled Sports in 1981, before adopting its current name. It develops sport for persons with disabilities, expands participation in Amman and the governorates, and prepares national teams for competition.
Its sports include para athletics, powerlifting, table tennis, wheelchair basketball, boccia and goalball. Training is supported by technical, administrative, medical and nutrition services, while local and international partnerships strengthen athlete development and Jordan’s participation in Paralympic competitions.
