Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council began as an association in 1959 and became a professional union in 1972. It works with relevant health institutions to strengthen nursing and midwifery, organize professional affairs and represent practitioners’ rights.
Training, professional development and member services are supported by scientific, professional and social committees, including youth, women’s and midwifery committees. Alongside its Amman headquarters, branches serve Irbid, Karak and Tafileh. Electronic services support course registration, payments and certificate verification.
