Jordan Engineers Association began as an engineers’ society in 1948 and received its official licence in 1949. It represents engineers across disciplines, with legal personality, financial and administrative independence and an elected council.
Its responsibilities include regulating professional practice, representing members and supporting engineering research and education. Services cover training, professional qualification and accreditation, engineering offices and firms, and early-career engineers. Pension, insurance and solidarity funds form part of its member services, delivered through its Amman centre and governorate branches.
