About Jordanian Society for Desertification Control and Badia Development
The Jordanian Society for Desertification Control and Badia Development was established in May 1990 as a voluntary non-governmental organization. It researches desertification and possible solutions, connecting natural-resource protection with improvements in Jordan’s Badia environment.
The society implements projects and awareness programmes addressing vegetation degradation, biodiversity conservation and efficient water use.
