About Generations For Peace
Founded in 2007 by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, Generations For Peace is an international nonprofit based in Jordan. It addresses conflict and violence through initiatives led by people within their own communities.
The organization develops youth leaders and volunteers who promote tolerance, responsible citizenship and community participation. Sport, art, dialogue, advocacy, empowerment and media activities provide routes to learning and sustained behavioural change for children, young people and adults.
Its programmes respond to local contexts and include women, girls and people at risk of exclusion. Capacity building is combined with community partnerships and monitoring of results. Its headquarters is at Al Hussein Youth Sport City in Amman.
