About Friedrich Ebert Stiftung – Amman Office
Friedrich Ebert Stiftung has maintained a permanent Amman office since 1986. In Jordan it cooperates with public institutions, civil society and other partners on research, dialogue and learning to support participation and social justice.
The office’s work includes democracy, political participation, gender equality and independent media. It also addresses labour rights, social dialogue and the role of trade unions, creating spaces for knowledge exchange and public policy discussion.
It supports debate on sustainable energy, climate and economic and social transitions. Cooperation with Jordanian partners, including the Royal Scientific Society, brings together analysis, research, dialogue and capacity development.
