The Danish Refugee Council began working in Jordan in 2003 in response to the Iraqi refugee crisis and launched a multisector response to the Syrian crisis in 2013. It is an international humanitarian organization supporting people affected by displacement.
Its Jordan programme focuses on protection and economic recovery, combining emergency assistance with sustainable solutions. It aims to strengthen protective environments and help vulnerable households and communities become more self-reliant.
DRC improves access to basic services and livelihood opportunities in seven governorates, including Azraq refugee camp. Activities are carried out with local and international partners and civil society organizations.
