Founded in 2006 to assist people affected by war and displacement, Collateral Repair Project now works with Jordanians and refugees of several nationalities. Assistance is based on vulnerability and need rather than nationality.
Its activities combine emergency assistance with education, recreation, mental-health and wellbeing support and income-generating programmes. Community members are encouraged to help lead programmes and participate in community service, strengthening resilience.
CRP operates centres at 13 Salti Al Ibrahimi Street in Hashemi Shamali and 13 As Saadeh Street in Downtown Amman. It offers opportunities to intern and volunteer in its local programmes.
