Founded in 1970, the Arab Women Organization of Jordan advances women’s and girls’ rights and gender equality. It supports women’s leadership and political, social and economic participation, including access to justice and services.
AWO takes a participatory approach to partnerships and collective action, working with women-led organizations through the Mosawa Network. Activities include advocacy, knowledge production, training, support for partner initiatives and policy dialogue.
