Established in 1971, Al Hussein Society supports people with disabilities and their families through the Jordan Center for Training and Inclusion. It combines specialized services with rights-based work and efforts to remove barriers to community participation.
Its activities include rehabilitation, inclusive education, assistive devices and community outreach. Services address different stages of life, from childhood to older age, taking account of individual needs, abilities and family circumstances.
The society also provides training, research and capacity building for professionals and institutions working on disability and inclusion. Its work reaches Jordan’s governorates, with its main location near Amman’s 7th Circle.
