Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans was established in 2006 as an initiative of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. It supports orphaned youth after age 18, particularly care-home graduates moving into education, employment and independent life.
The fund supports study at universities, colleges and vocational training centres. Its assistance includes tuition, living allowances, safe housing, health insurance, psychosocial support and personal-development and skills programmes.
Applications are accepted from care-home graduates across Jordan and orphaned youth whose financial or living circumstances prevent further education, subject to eligibility criteria and available resources. The headquarters is at 5 Mohammed Al-Saeed Al-Bataineh Street in Dabouq, Amman.
