About Ahel
Founded in 2011, Ahel supports people and groups seeking change through collective action. It helps communities organize their efforts, develop participatory leadership and turn shared concerns into practical campaigns.
Its work combines campaign coaching with training for organizers, trainers and coaches. Starting in Jordan and Palestine, Ahel expanded collaboration with leaders and groups across the Arab region, using field experience and shared learning to inform its approach.
Ahel offers courses on leading and organizing collective action, including Arabic online learning. It also supported the creation of the Athar Network for connection and solidarity among Arab organizers. Its office is on Ahmad Ibn Hanbal Street in Amman.
