Signs an ad may be fake
- Fees: any request to pay for registration, an interview or to “secure” the job.
- Unrealistic pay: very high salaries for the title and experience with vague requirements.
- Unclear employer: no company name, address or website; contact only via a personal number.
- Instant offers: a job offer without an interview.
- Early requests for sensitive data: ID copies or bank details before any contract.
How to verify the employer
- Search for the company, its website and official accounts.
- Check that emails come from the company domain.
- Ask about the role, location and contract before agreeing.
